Spring in the Garden

Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. The weather is warming, grass is turning green, those hidden plants start to come alive. I love Peonies. They remind me of my Grandma Sophia. She had a long row of plants that smelled as wonderful as they looked. This is a new peony my sister gave me. It is a fern peony.

Pinks in many shades and white double blooms.

I divided some of my Siberian Iris and didn't think they would bloom. I have several more plants that need dividing but I'm too busy enjoying these for now.

This Lambs Ear just grows like crazy and is showing up all over the garden and yard. And finally the salvia is growing. I have this purple which I think is called May Night and also a few white plants.

This is the only shady part of the yard. I love these hostas and the wild geranium!

These Asiatic Lillies are my favorite. What a beautiful display.

Thanks for checking in on me. I'll be talking vegetables next. I'll see you soon.
